Clips for respirator systems help protect medical professionals
March 1, 2021
— Tobyhanna Army Depot personnel use additive manufacturing technology to fabricate hundreds of clips for advanced respiratory protection systems worn by medical professionals at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. The clips, which hold replaceable shields on the respiratory systems, were created using state-of-the-art equipment in the depot’s engineering analysis and solutions lab that opened last year. Team Tobyhanna collaborated with medical technicians to establish requirements for producing the components.
