Forward Support and Services

Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) possesses unmatched Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities to enable rapid operational readiness for the United States Armed Forces. TYAD provides all levels of sustainment and mobilization, surge or reconstitution support, as per Army Regulation (AR) 750-1. TYAD Industrial Operations expands beyond Tobyhanna, PA, with (5) Depot Maintenance Forward Operations, (3) in the Continental United States and (2) outside the Continental United States. The intent of those operations is to provide progressive maintenance to targeted systems of record, adapt to regional priorities and leverage existing capabilities to improve readiness by responding to the need of the user community.  TYAD operates over 120 semi-permanent to permanent Forward Operating Locations that facilitate supply transactions and user based requirements execution. TYAD also employs Field Service Representatives to provide forward technical support for radar programs at a number of global locations. TYAD deploys Mobile Depot Maintenance (MDM) teams to perform corrosion mitigation and repairs resulting from operating in harsh environmental conditions. Ultimately, TYAD is committed to bringing maintenance operations to the point of need, from operations as focused as supply turn-in transactions and warranty reclamation, to progressive maintenance at Depot Maintenance Forward Operations, with the goal of enhancing operational readiness by overcoming challenges associated with contested logistics.
