Tobyhanna Army Depot is a secure military installation and is not open to the general public. All visitors must comply with security protocols to ensure the safety and efficiency of operations.
All visitors to Tobyhanna Army Depot must have an official purpose for visiting, coordinate with a depot point of contact prior to their visit, and be escorted at all times.
Anyone wishing to visit Tobyhanna Army Depot for any reason must possess a DoD Common Access Card (CAC), REAL-ID compliant license/identification card, or another form of federally-acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID).
- Drivers must also have a valid vehicle registration, insurance and inspection. All vehicles are subject to search at any time.
- Non-federal visitors must submit to a background check prior to entry. ELTY Form 648C, Request for Access to Tobyhanna Army Depot, may be obtained through the visitors Tobyhanna point of contact and submitted no later than 3 business days prior to the visit. Failure to submit ELTY Form 648C will result in delayed entry at the gate until background check can be completed. Visitors may use DoD SAFE to transmit their 648Cs securely.
- New visitors to the installation should proceed to the Visitor Control Center (VCC) for processing. Precleared visitors should proceed through the main gate to the main parking lot and enter through the Law Enforcement Branch Building.
