The listing below highlight's some of the specific capabilities Tobyhanna Army Depot has to offer:

  • Capability to produce mechanical and electrical designs for singular items all the way up to full systems. Completed designs include programs like Army NETT Warrior cables, Marine Corps  Ground Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) Power Equipment Group, and Army Bridge Supplemental Set.
  • TYAD employs highly skilled engineers who support all aspects of Technical Data Development. This includes creating new level 3 drawing packages, integrating systems for manufacturing, and updating existing technical data. Our team is proficient in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as CREO and AutoCAD, enabling the generation of precise two or three dimensional models and detailed design documentation.
  • Finite Element Analysis capability for validating designs before production in mechanical assemblies or fluid flow scenarios.
  • Prototype development facility for hands on application of engineering concepts, validating design choices, and fabrication of prototypes. Equipped with all the necessary tooling to support electrical and mechanical design work.
  • Polymer additive manufacturing capabilities for rapid prototyping, custom fixturing, tooling and molds, and end item parts.
  • Diverse and experienced group of Manufacturing engineers to support shop floor processes in the machining, sheet metal, welding, cable fabrication, fabric, and painting/plating/refinishing shops. This can include anything from creating part programming for CNC machines to trouble shooting issues on the fabrication line to developing new capability.
