Commander
Welcome to Tobyhanna Army Depot—the Defense Department’s premier center for total sustainment of the C4ISR systems that are critical to the readiness and effectiveness of our Armed Forces. We are committed to delivering on time, effective and high-quality products and services to ensure mission accomplishment wherever our forces deploy or operate.
Today, Team Tobyhanna is a logistics enterprise supporting the Joint Warfighter through a network of more than 70 forward repair activities from our home in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. We are sustaining our forces in a time of war and are deeply involved in the transformation that is bringing sweeping changes to our Armed Forces.
I am proud to lead an organization that has, for more than 56 years, built an unparalleled record of success and service. We do not rest on that record; rather, we constantly adapt, innovate and modernize to ensure we meet our Warfighters’ requirements today and in the years ahead.
Our work force, facilities and capabilities are world-class, and we use the proven techniques of Lean Six Sigma to constantly enhance our quality and efficiency. Our four Shingo awards for Manufacturing Excellence attest to our commitment to continuous process improvement.
Our new Depot Maintenance of the Future Facility is our test bed for advanced maintenance processes and techniques, accomplished in an employee-friendly and environmentally-advanced work environment.
