Tobyhanna Child & Youth Services (CYS) Program offers quality programming for children 4 weeks through 12th grade. Our services are offered through various programs to include Child Development Center (CDC), School Age Care (SAC), Youth Services (YS), Middle School & Teen (MST) and Child & Youth Liaison, Education and Outreach Services (CLEOS). We are happy your family has chosen to participate in our programs.
All programs strive to promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children and youth by providing a safe and nurturing environment. Our well trained staff are committed to offering high quality, developmentally appropriate programming for each child based on ages, abilities, interests, personality and cultural backgrounds.
CYS programs are offered as a supplement to your family. We are sincere in our commitment to the children and the families of the Tobyhanna Army Depot community. We therefore seek your involvement and welcome your comments and questions. Thank you for entrusting your child to our care.

Mission: To support the readiness and well being of Army families by reducing conflict between the military mission and parental responsibilities. We reinforce Army values and foster family self-reliance. Child & Youth Services provides predictable and affordable programs that are inclusive of baseline requirements and enrichment opportunities. We commit to sustained quality in all service areas through timely and appropriate training, well-executed plans, and operations that allow for a seamless delivery of service.
Philosophy: The highly trained staff of CYS recognizes that quality childcare is a top priority. We offer children a place to grow at their own pace. Through a carefully planned and prepared environment children are offered varied developmental opportunities to grow physically, socially, emotionally, aesthetically, intellectually and independently. A trained professional staff plans activities based on the children's ages, personalities, and cultural backgrounds.
