Pre-departure services to prepare soldiers and family members for their Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move. A pre-departure packet includes a guide to military moving, PCS tips and a needs assessment.

Welcome packets with local area and installation information, maps and installation publications.

Newcomer orientations provide one-to-one depot tours and overviews to familiarize new military members and families with installation services and activities.
- A computerized database via Military HOMEFRONT, contains information on installations worldwide.

The Lending Closet is fully stocked with basic household goods such as dishes, pots, pans, silverware, bakeware, linens, towels, cots, air mattresses, portable cribs, high chairs, strollers, toasters, coffee makers and irons.
