The Family Advocacy Program provides educational curriculum and supportive services to families within and surrounding the Tobyhanna Army Depot community. These services promote healthy familial relationships, strengthen communications and increase cohesion of family units. Services include, but are not limited to:

Domestic Violence Awareness educational programs which discuss the effects of domestic violence on children, the abuser's power and control, and available resources for individuals seeking intervention.

Child Abuse Awareness educational programs for staff, military personnel, and families, which discuss the four types of abuse, being an advocate for a child in need, and confidentiality.

Teen Dating Violence Awareness for adolescents to recognize signs of abuse and acknowledge the resources available to them.

Short-term crisis counseling to provide intervention and support to individuals or families in need.

Advocacy and referral to local agencies that can provide additional resources and intervention.

Child and spouse abuse case management services.
Report Abuse at Tobyhanna Army Depot
- “If I am being abused, whom can I tell?” There are two reporting options available to victims of domestic abuse: restricted and unrestricted.
- Restricted Reporting option: If an individual elects the restricted reporting option, they will receive medical and treatment services without initiating an investigation. Individuals choosing the restricted reporting option can report to the FAP Manager / Victim Advocate at (570) 615-7509 or (570) 236-8838.
- Unrestricted Reporting option: If an individual elects the unrestricted reporting option, they will receive medical and treatment services AND initiate an investigation. Individuals choosing the unrestricted reporting option can report to the Security Division at (570) 615-7550 or the FAP Manager / Victim Advocate at (570) 615-8371.
