Infant/Toddler Rooms

******************************************************************** ***********************************************************************

The infant/toddler classrooms provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment for children of this age. In these classrooms you will see an environment that is rich in sensory development.  Infant/toddlers are just starting to discover their world and we have arranged our classrooms to meet their developmental needs. The materials and activities are developmentally appropriate to enable exploration of their environment and the world around them.

In our infant/toddler classroom you will find such things as soft areas, rugs, mirrors, pull-up bars, sensory tables, and fabric materials to include but not limited to books, stuffed animals, soft food, blocks and puppets.  Centers are age specific to experience art, puzzles, pretend play, musical instruments and songs. The infant/toddler’s outdoor play area is designed specifically for this age, easily accessible outside their door.  The large shade area, play structures, picnic tables and toys allow for daily outdoor enjoyment.

Our highly-trained professional staff communicates each child’s progress through individualized programming and daily parent reports. Classroom programming and curriculum is designed with activities using The Creative Curriculum and the Pennsylvania Infant-Toddler Early Learning Standards.
